Acceler8 Program is delighted to announce we will receive funding from the Queensland Government’s Advancing Women in Business Industry Partnerships program to provide free Financial Education Workshops for women running small businesses throughout Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba, and Warwick.
More than 97 percent of Queensland businesses are classified as small business. Research shows there is a clear link between the ongoing success of a small business and the owner’s financial literacy. Acceler8 helps female entrepreneurs and small business owners grow their business by improving their financial literacy through face-to-face workshops and online education courses.
With this funding, Acceler8 will provide free face-to-face workshops throughout South East Queensland and a discount for their online financial education course.
Acceler8 Program was established by a successful entrepreneur and business coach, Tanya Titman, who runs several small businesses. “By sharing insights from my own business experience, I help women to create and scale their own”.
Tanya and the team of women from Acceler8 Program have a clear mission – to educate, inspire and empower women in business by improving their financial literacy.
Acceler8 will use this funding to provide Free Financial Education workshops and to subsidise the cost of our online financial education course – Understand My Numbers. Women who attend the workshops will be provided with a discount code which reduces the cost of this 10-week, self-paced, financial literacy course from $595 to $265.
Acceler8 will partner with bookkeepers and accountants throughout Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Warwick and Toowoomba to amplify our message about the importance of financial literacy and extend our impact on women in small business.
